We would like to say a huge thank you to those of you who have helped test our concept for Racing Snails so far! Your feedback has been incredible, and we’ve taken it all onboard.
We hear you! We know what you want and we know we have to work hard to get there.
Racing Snails has been, so far, a fun experiment. We wanted to see how far we could push something to do what it was never supposed to do. We wanted to try using WordPress (the most popular CMS) as a game engine. Those of you who know enough about the joys of web development will likely be aware of how crazy that sounds. It was crazy, but it was fun!
Of course, in the end, we created a mess. It was buggy, and broken, and just begging us to stop. So we’ve stopped.
That doesn’t mean we aren’t still committed to Racing Snails, because we very much are! We are still working on the game, but we’re doing it the “proper way”. Hopefully sometime soon, we will be able to launch a new Racing Snails Beta using an all new, purpose built engine. It’ll have all the things you wanted and more.
